Today I felt inspired to do an artistic play on a archived shot of my youngest niece. I really liked the way my niece was walking in the original shot but the setting just needed some color! The light was a tad flat as the sun dashed in and out of the clouds. And my niece was busy moving to and fro and I am sure my settings were all over the place trying to keep up with her and the light so this shot is a underexposed. Not a problem however. Anyway, here is the original to see what the photo looked like to start with - shoot in RAW, Manual, ISO 640 (it was sunset and light was fading and I accidentally left he ISO up during the whole shoot..darnit!), f 3.5, ss 1/2000 sec, 135mm prime.

Hi Angela,
It's cousin, Karen Richardson! How are you? I visit your blog frequently but have never taken the time to leave a comment and say hello. I love your work. You are SO VERY talented! My twin boys are turning 2 next month and I sure wish we lived closer so I could have you take their 2 year portraits. Hope all is well. Please tell your family hello!
Love, love the treatments Ang! Your PSing powers always amaze me. :) Beautiful work friend. ♥
